Mr. James Jesse Peeples

Mr. James Jesse Peeples, 74 of Mt. Airy passed away at Catawba Valley Medical Center Thursday, April 11, 2013. Mr. Peeples was born in Guilford County on July 28, 1938 to the late Jesse James and Annie Brown Peeples. He served eleven years in the U.S. Air Force and later worked with construction before retiring. Mr. Peeples is survived by three sons and a daughter-in-law, George Edward Peeples of Mt. Airy, Paul Trent and Denise Peeples of Hickory and Troy Edmund Peeples of Mt. Airy; seven grandchildren, Rick, Mark, Zach, Joshua, Kimberly, Chelsea and Jillian Peeples; three great grandchildren, Payton, Annalice and Amber Peeples; a brother and sister-in-law, Ken and Mildred Peeples of Mt. Airy. In addition to his parents, Mr. Peeples was preceded in death by an infant daughter, Tina Elaine Peeples; a son, John Andrew Peeples and a sister, Jettie Lee Daily. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM on Sunday, April 14, 2013 at Moody Funeral Home Chapel by Rev. Larry Phillips. The family will receive friends at Moody Funeral Home in Mt.
