Mr. James Ray Wagoner

Mr. James Ray Wagoner, age 62 of Patrick Springs, passed away Tuesday, January 18, 2011 at Pioneer Community Hospital in Stuart. He was born in Patrick County on August 11, 1948, and was preceded in death by his step-father, Johnny Taylor; and his grandparents, Charlie Reed and Lillie Mae Shelton Wagoner.
Mr. Wagoner is survived by his wife of 39 years, Elva Mae Cassady Wagoner of the home; two sons, Jamie Ray Wagoner of Patrick Springs, and Tracy Leon Wagoner and fiancé, Tiffany Belton of Bassett; four grandchildren, Katlyn, Amber, Harley and Danielle Wagoner; his mother, Olene Wagoner Taylor of Lynchburg; and a sister and brother-in-law, Vicki and Ralph Elder of Lynchburg.
Funeral services for Mr. Wagoner will be held Friday, January 21, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. at Moody Funeral Home in Stuart with Rev. Mark Wright and Rev. J. R. Shelton officiating. Burial will follow in Patrick Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home, and at other times at the home.
