Mr. James Andrew Wilson

Mr. James Andrew Wilson, age 88 of Collinsville, passed away Thursday, November 12, 2009 at his home. He was born in Patrick County on September 12, 1921 to the late Robert Lee and Mary Martin Wilson. In addition to his parents, Mr. Wilson was preceded in death by two sisters, Rebecca Wilson and Mabel Agnew. He had retired from Bassett Furniture Industries and American Furniture.
Mr. Wilson is survived by his wife of 32 years, Reva Harris Wilson of the home; one son and daughter-in-law, Ronald and Ruth Wilson of Stuart; two step-children, Rebecca Ashworth of Roanoke and Israel Ashworth, and wife, Helen, of Patrick Springs; five grandchildren, Pam Wright, Rhonda Marshall, Heather Ashworth, Brandon Ashworth and Bailey Ashworth; four great-grandchildren; and one sister, Ruth Martin of Bassett.
A graveside service for Mr. Wilson will be held Sunday at 2:00 p.m. at Peters Creek Baptist Church cemetery with Phillip Rivers officiating.
