Mr. Jason Frederick Moore

Jason Fredrick Moore, age 40, departed this life on Friday, March 2, 2018 at his home in Charlotte, North Carolina. He was born in Patrick County, Virginia on November 8, 1977. Jason graduated from Patrick County High School in 1995. He received a B.S. Degree in English and Finance from Virginia Tech University in 2000. Jason had a career as a stock broker through Harris Direct/ETrade. He later pursued a career in Finance with Bank of America as the Vice President of Finance.

Jason was an avid reader, often reading two to three books at one time. He had a keen love for literature, art, his love of tropical fish, and golfing. He and his fiancé were connoisseurs of fine dining in Charlotte, NC. One of his favorite past-times was reading DC Comics and he was an avid gardener of yellow roses.

He leaves to mourn his loss the following family members: His loving parents, James and Phyllis Moore of Stuart, Virginia; two brothers, Preston (Ute) Moore of Mons, Belgium, and Brandon Moore of Richmond, Virginia; one sister, Katie Lynn Tolley (Tim) of Roanoke, Virginia. He is mourned by his loving fiancé, Tyronsa Jackson of Charlotte, North Carolina.

Nephews, Dion, Zavier, and Gabriel; also a niece, Nia; an uncle, Robert (Sandra) Moore; aunts, Linda (Allen) Ludwig, Prestonia (Hampton) Kier, Angela (Michael) Simmons, and Deborah (Arthur) Carter. Grandmother’s Marie Brown of Roanoke, Virginia, and Jeanette Moore Moir of Stuart, Virginia; grandfather Preston Brown, Sr., and preceded in death by his grandfather Fred Moore. Jason also has a host of numerous cousins, friends, and colleagues.

Funeral services for Jason will be held on Saturday, March 10, 2018 at 12:00 noon at Moody Funeral Home Chapel in Stuart. Burial will immediately follow in Patrick Memorial Gardens.
