Mr. Jeff Junior McBride

Mr. Jeff Junior McBride, 85 of Mount Airy, passed away Monday morning January 9, 2017 at his home. Mr. McBride was born in Surry County on March 16, 1931 to the late Thomas Jefferson McBride and Maggie Fulp McBride. Mr. McBride was stone cutter at N.C. Granite for many years and retired from Renfro Corp. Mr. McBride is survived by his brother, Clyde Jefferson McBride, Sr.; nephews, Danny McBride and wife, Diann; and David McBride; niece-in-law, Patty McBride; great nephews, Daniel McBride, and wife, Amy, Jeb McBride, great nieces, Abby and Ashley McBride; great-great nephews, Aaron Westmoreland, Brayden McBride, Corbin McBride and Laden McBride; two special canine companions, “Chubs” and “Baby Girl”. In addition to his parents, Mr. McBride was preceded in death by a nephew, Clyde Jefferson “Buck” McBride, Jr; and a sister-in-law, Katie McBride. A graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM on Friday, January 13, 2016 at McBride Family Cemetery with Rev. Kelly Haynes.
