Mr. Jeffrey Clifford Holderfield

Mr. Jeffrey Clifford Holderfield, 42, of 1417 Round Peak Church Road, Lowgap, NC. passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday night, November 3, 2015, at his home. Mr. Holderfield was born January 24, 1973, in Surry County, one of three children born to Nyra Hodges Holderfield and the late Warren Roger Holderfield. Jeff was owner and operator of Jeffrey C. Holderfield and Sons Construction Company. Surviving are his wife Laurie Dunbar Holderfield of the home, sons Josh Holderfield of Mt. Airy and Bailey Holderfield of the home and Bailey’s girlfriend Rachel Hull of Mt. Airy, his mother Nyra Hodges Holderfield of Mt. Airy, one sister and brother-in-law Dawn and Randy Cassell of Mt. Airy, one brother and sister-in-law Greg and April Holderfield of King, his grandmother Mallie Holderfield of Galax three nephews Michael Harrison, Seth Holderfield and Zack Holderfield and his devoted employees. In addition to his father Jeff was preceded in death by his grandparents Clifford and Edith Hodges and Roy Holderfield. Funeral services will be held Saturday November 7, 2015 at 11:00 AM at Moody Funeral Home Chapel in Mt. Airy with services conducted by Rev. Zane Fishel and Rev. Jonathan Barker with burial to follow in the Ring Creek Farms Cemetery. The family will receive friends Friday night 6 to 8 P.M. at the Moody Funeral Home in Mt. Airy, NC.
