Mr. Jeffrey Carter Stanley

Mr. Jeffrey Carter Stanley, 45, of Mount Airy passed away on Sunday, December 22, 2013 from injuries sustained in an automobile accident. He was born on August 18, 1968 to Linda Harrison Stanley Hamlin and the late Billy Ray Stanley, Sr. He was formerly employed as a Foreman for Insteel Wire Corporation and of the Baptist faith. He is survived by two daughters, Jessalyn Grace Stanley and Lily Faith Stanley, both of Mount Airy; his beloved mother, Linda Harrison Stanley and husband Larry Hamlin, of Mount Airy; a sister, Heather Linette and husband David Ray Johnson of Ararat and two brothers, Billy Ray Stanley, Jr. and James Wesley and wife Naiyana Stanley, all of Mount Airy; two nieces, Clarrissa Stanley and Sarah Chaney; and a nephew, Payton Chaney. In addition to his father, Mr. Stanley was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Nellie and Bobby Harrison; and paternal grandparents, Ford and Susie Stanley. Funeral services will be held at 2 pm on Friday, December 27, 2013 at Bear Creek Baptist Church by the Rev. Timmy Gwyn. The family will receive friends at the church on Thursday from 6 to 8 pm where his body will remain until time for the service.
