Mr. Jerry D. Gwyn, Sr

Mr. Jerry D. Gwyn, Sr., age 86 of Roseville, MI passed away Friday, October 7, 2011. He was born in Mt. Airy, NC to the late Maggie Akers Gwyn and Fred Gwyn. Mr. Gwyn is survived by his loving wife of 63 cherished years, Emma Lou; beloved children, Jerry Gwyn, Jr., Danny Gwyn, Larry Gwyn, Angela Moore and Pamela Brandon; special grandchildren, Chris, Jr., Terri Ann, Katherine, Michael, Danielle, Erika, Tony, Gary, Adam, Emily, Keith, Jordan, Lanie, Jessie, Eddie and great-grandchildren, Michael, Matthew, Joseph, Dominic, Damion, Dylan, Emma, McKayla, Mitchell, Emily, Cooper and Jackson; sisters, Ruth Lineback and Annie Mooney. In addition to his parents, Mr. Gwyn was preceded in death by two sons, Chris and Timothy Gwyn; a brother, Raymond Gwyn and a sister, Mary Roach. Funeral services will be conducted on Wednesday, October 12, 2011 at 2:00 PM at Moody Funeral Home Chapel with Chaplain Jerry Keegan officiating. Burial will follow at Salem Fork Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, October 11, 2011 from 7:00 until 9:00 PM at Moody Funeral Home in Mt. Airy.
