Mr. Jerry Allen Hutchins SR

Mr. Jerry Allen Hutchins, Sr. age 70, of Elkin, NC passed away unexpectedly on Monday February 17, 2014. He was born in Surry County on November 27, 1943 to the late Claude and Dora Reece Hutchins. He was a member of Little Richmond Baptist Church, and was retired from the USDA. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by one sister Barbara Jean Largen. Surviving are his two daughters Kristin Leigh Hutchins of Delray Beach, Fla., Lindsay Brooke Hutchins of Lewisville, NC; one son Jerry Allen Hutchins Jr. of Elkin, NC.; four sisters and brothers-in-law Annie Lou Smith of Jonesville, Libby and Ray Holder of Orlando, Fla. Brenda and Ronnie Miller of Dobson, Edna and Arthur Mickle of Elkin; one brother and sister-in-law Mike and Brenda Hutchins of Mt. Airy. Funeral Services will be held 3:00 P.M. February 20, 2014 at Little Richmond Baptist Church with burial to follow in the Church Cemetery with Military Honors' by Veterans of Foreign Wars Memorial Honor Guard Mount Airy Post 2019 and Pilot Mountain Post 9436. Rev. JV Lowe will conduct the services. The family will receive friends at Little Richmond Baptist Church on Wednesday evening from 6:00 PM Until 8:00 PM.
