Mr. Jerry Wilmer Lewis

Mr. Jerry Wilmer Lewis, age 69 of Patrick Springs, passed away Tuesday, January 19, 2010 at Roanoke Memorial Hospital. He was born in Freeman, West Virginia on February 18, 1940 to the late Wilmer E. and Kathryne Turner Lewis. In addition to his parents, Mr. Lewis was preceded in death by a brother-in-law, Donald Robinette, a nephew, Anthony Eugene Bailey and a niece, tiffany Leigh Cassie. He was a member of Mayo Christian Church.
Mr. Lewis is survived by four sisters and two brothers-in-law, Reba and Gary Horton, Janet and George Oakley and Elva Robinette, all of Martinsville, and Goldie L. Thorne of Stuart; and special friends, Bobby Ray and Susan Miller, Betty Lawson and Thomas Fanning.
A graveside service will be held Saturday, January 23, 2010, at 2:00 p.m. at Patrick Memorial Gardens with Pastor Kurt Ashby officiating.
