Mr. Jesse Wilson Hill

Mr. Jesse Wilson Hill, age 60 of Stuart, passed away Monday, January 31, 2011 at Stokes-Reynolds Hospital in Danbury, North Carolina. He was born on December 25, 1950 in Patrick County to the late Glover Wilson Hill and Hassie Nellie Goad Hill. In addition to his parents, Mr. Hill was preceded in death by a son, Jesse Ray "Chip" Hill; and a sister, Alice Martin. He was a member of Mayo Mountain Baptist Church and had worked for Pike Electric.
Mr. Hill is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Ricky and Pam Hill of Madison, North Carolina; one daughter and son-in-law, Tina and Tony Easterling of Ridgeway; two step-sons and a step-daughter-in-law, Chris and Tammy DeHart of Westfield, North Carolina and Travis DeHart of Mount Airy, North Carolina; three grandchildren, Jesse Hill, Tyler Easterling and Paige Easterling; five step-grandchildren, Jessica, Brittany, Eli, Shawn and Jordon DeHart; three sisters and brothers-in-law, Jean and Dennis Joyce of Sandy Ridge, North Carolina, Linda and Nelson Culler of King, North Carolina, Faye and Ray McCormick of Claudville, and Stuart "Winkie" Martin of Claudville. Also surviving are three nephews and six nieces who assisted so much in his care at the hospital, and a very special family, Mr. And Mrs. Richard Belton and sons, who have helped him so much for many years.
A graveside memorial service will be held Saturday, February 5, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. at Mary Horner Walker Presbyterian Church cemetery with Pastor David Heath officiating. If desired, memorials may be made to Mountain Valley Hospice and Palliative Care, 401 Technology Lane, Suite 200, Mount Airy, North Carolina 27030.
