Mr. Jesse L. Holley

Mr. Jesse Lewis Holley, age 74 of Stanley Ct., Collinsville passed away Sat. evening at Memorial Hospital in Martinsville. He was born on March 12, 1933 in Patrick County to the late Oscar Nelus Holley and Sarah Adkins Holley. In addition to his parents he was also preceded in death by a sister, Mary H. Hale Wright and one brother, Odell Jefferson Holly. Mr. Holley served in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict and was of the Baptist faith.
Surviving are a daughter, Barbara Ann Hodge of Martinsville; one son, Ronnie Lee Holley of Florida; four sisters, Elsie Wade of Ferrum, Ann M. Holley of Rocky Mt., Pauline Haskins of Chatham, Rosie Willard of Stuart; and one brother, Charlie Holley of Ferrum.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, June 12, 2007 at 2:00 PM at Moody Funeral Home Chapel in Stuart with Pastors Everett Mills and Don Reynolds officiating. Burial will follow in the Holley Family Cemetery with military rites by the Patrick County Veterans Memorial Honor Guard. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service on Tuesday.
