Mr. Jesse Lee Puckett

Mr. Jesse Lee Puckett, age 86 of Stuart, passed away Friday, Nov. 25, 2016 at the Blue Ridge Therapy Connection in Stuart. He was born on Dec. 21, 1929 in Patrick County to the late Jeremiah and Florence Bowman Puckett. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one sister, Odessa Turner; and two brothers, Lester and Lawrence Puckett. Jesse attended Fairview Pentecostal Holiness Church.

Surviving are his wife, Erma Foley Puckett of Stuart; a step-daughter, Beverly French of Stuart; a step-son, Burdis Barker of Roanoke; three step-grandchildren; one sister, Madeline Hatcher of Patrick Springs; and several nephews.

Funeral services will be held Monday, Nov. 28, 2016 at 11:00 AM at Moody Funeral Home in Stuart with Revs. Kenneth Terry and Allen Dawson officiating. Burial will follow in the Puckett Family Cemetery in Meadows of Dan. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
