Mr. Jimmy L. Sawyers

Mr. Jimmy L. Sawyers, 44 of Dandridge, TN. Passed away Friday, July 15, 2011 in Jefferson City, TN. Mr. Sawyers was born in Surry County on May 28, 1967 to the late Glen Edward and Judith Carol McCormick Sawyers. He was a welder before becoming disabled and a member of Temple Baptist Church. He is survived by his wife, Rebecca Sawyers of the home; a daughter, Janet Deann Sawyers of Waco, TX; a stepdaughter, Jennifer Leigh Brannam of Kodak, TN; a stepson, Jonathan Craig Lockhart of Maryville, TN; four grandchildren; brothers, Mike Sawyers of Waco, TX, and Anthony Sawyers of Mt. Airy. In addition to his parents, Mr. Sawyers was preceded in death by a son, Lee Monroe Sawyers. Funeral services will be held Wednesday July 20, 2011 at 11:00 AM at Mt. Carmel Baptist Church with Rev. Donnie Hooker officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 6:00 until 8:00 PM at Moody Funeral Home in Mt.
