Mr. Jimmy Ray Sizemore

Mr. Jimmy Ray Sizemore, age 63, of Elkin, NC passed away on Saturday evening April 13, 2013 at Forsyth Medical Center in Winston Salem. He was born in Surry County on November 15, 1949 to the late Samuel Lewis Sizemore and the late Verlie Mae Tucker Sizemore. He was retired from East Coast Mill Works Distribution; he was a member of Fall Creek Full Gospel Church. Surviving are his wife of 35 years Glenda Shaw Sizemore of the home; two sisters Betty Bass of Yadkin Co., Alice Faye Hayes of Wilkes Co.; three brothers Rex Sizemore of Yadkin Co., Jackie Sizemore of Wilkes Co., and Steven Sizemore of Yadkin Co.; in addition to his parents he was preceded in death by three brothers. A memorial service will be held Saturday April 20, 2013 at 2:00 P.M. at Word of Life Christian Center in State Road, NC, with burial following at Mount Pleasant Baptist Church Cemetery in State Road, NC. Pastor Martha Childress and Rev. Larry Atwood will conduct the services. The family will receive friends at Word of Life Christian Center from 1:00 P.M. until 2:00 P.M. the time of his Memorial service. The Family has requested that in lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Jimmy Ray Sizemore Memorial Fund C/O Glenda S. Sizemore PO Box 542 Jonesville, NC 28642. There will be no formal services held at the Funeral Home. Moody-Davis Funeral Home is serving the Sizemore family.
