Mr. Jody Leon White

Mr. Jody Leon White, 37, of Dobson passed away unexpectedly at his home on Thursday April 1, 2010. He was born in Surry County on January 2, 1973 to Melvin Leon and Katie Norman White. Mr. White was formerly employed by Vulcan Materials Company and was of the Baptist faith. Survivors include his parents, Melvin Leon and Katie Norman White of Boonville; a sister and brother-in-law, Melissa and Randy Vestal of Yadkinville; two very dear nephews who adored him, Cody and Bryson Vestal and his faithfulcanine companion, "Snuggles". His funeral service will be held at 3 PM Sunday in the chapel of Moody-Davis Funeral Home by Rev. Larry Stone with burial to follow in Anchored in Jesus Baptist Church cemetery. There will be no formal visitation. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to his mother, Katie White 10157 Highway 601, Boonville, NC 27011 to assist with the funeral expenses.
