Mr. Joe Lynn Lowe

Mr. Joe Lynn Lowe, age 66, of Dobson, NC passed away on Monday September 9, 2013 at the Joan and Howard Woltz Hospice Home in Dobson. He was born in Surry County on December 26, 1946 to Peggy Simmons Lowe and the late Joe Bill Lowe. He was a member of Roaring Gap Baptist Church and was a Veteran of the US Navy. Surviving is his wife Nell Davis Lowe of the home; one daughter and son-in-law Tammy and Brent Tilley of Mt. Airy; one son Travis Lowe of Mt. Airy; his mother Peggy Simmons Lowe of Mt. Airy; two sisters and brothers-in-law Nancy "Kitty" and Ronnie Easter of Cana, VA and Liz and Bruce Walley of Winston-Salem, NC. Funeral services will be held 2:00 P.M. Wednesday September 11, 2013 in the Chapel of Moody-Davis Funeral Home, with burial to follow in the Fairview Baptist Church Cemetery with Military Honors by Veterans of Foreign Wars Memorial Honor Guard Mount Airy Post 2018 and Pilot Mountain Post 9436. Rev. Joseph Easter and Rev. Joe Atkins will conduct the services. The family will receive friends at Moody-Davis Funeral Home on Tuesday evening from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM.
