Mr. Joel E. "Joey" Scott

Mr. Joel Edward "Joey" Scott, age 52, of Stuart passed away on Saturday, June 9, 2007 at RJR Patrick County Memorial Hospital. He was born on May 30, 1955 in Rockingham County, NC to John Albert Scott Jr. of Eden, NC and Mary Hill Kallam of Westfield, NC. Mr. Scott was employed by Wood Brothers Racing.
In addition to his parents, he is also survived by his wife, Theresa Rorrer Scott, of the home, one son; Brian Thomas Scott of Eden, NC, two grandchildren; Dustin McClay Scott and Devin Thomas Scott, one brother; James Darrell Scott of Havana, FL, and one sister; Roberta Lynn Hill of Branson West, MO. Mr. Scott was preceded in death by two brothers; John Thomas Scott and Jesse Clay Scott and a sister Elizabeth Myers.
Services for Mr. Scott will be held at 11:00AM on Tuesday, June 12, 2007 at Moody Funeral Home Chapel in Stuart with Rev. Curtis Hall officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the funeral. Following this service a graveside funeral will be held at 2:00PM at Llewellyn Family Cemetery in Madison, NC.
