Mr. John Wade Terry

Mr. John Wade Terry, age 74 of Stuart, passed away Wednesday, December 28, 2011 at the Forsyth Medical Center in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. He was born in Patrick County on May 2, 1937 to the late John Sherman and Blanche Stone Terry. In addition to his parents, Mr. Terry was preceded in death by his wife, Anna Rita Urban Terry. He served in the United States Air Force for 13 years where he was a tail gunner on a B-52 airplane. He truly loved his apple orchard and enjoyed growing flowers.
Mr. Terry is survived by three brothers, Ricky Terry of Stuart, George Shelburn Terry and Donald Lee Terry, both of Colorado Springs, Colorado: three nieces; and a special friend and neighbor, Sally Kadle of Stuart.
