Mr. John Carter Wright

Mr. John Carter Wright, age 62 of Stuart passed away on July 8, 2007 at the Blue Ridge Nursing Center in Stuart. He was born on May 5, 1945 in Abingdon, VA to the late William Edward Wright and Ollie Pauline Carter Wright. In addition to his parents he was also preceded in death by a step son, David A. Graf. He worked for Lexington Furniture Industries for over 20 years and loved to collect John Deere figurines as well as old model cars, trucks, and knives.
Surviving are a son, John Edward Wright of Abingdon, VA; four step sons and daughter in law, Paul Graf of Lexington, NC, Jeff and Cindy Burrow of Tyro, NC, Michael Burrow of Tyro, NC, Matthew Burrow and fiance Brooke White of Lexington, NC; two step daughters and sons in law, Teresa and Joe Smith of Lexington, NC, Aleesa and Jeff Wiseman of Lexington, NC; five step grandchildren, David P. Graf, Shane Graf, Jodi Smith, Julian Smith, Brittany Burrow; four step great grandchildren, Andrew Dayton, Alexis Dayton, Chasity Miller, Talon Graf; two brothers, William Wright of Tobaccoville, NC, Marvin Wright of Kingsland, GA; one sister, Doris Rodgers of Eden, NC; and a special friend, Bertie Goodman of Stuart, VA.
There will be a memorial service held on July 14, 2007 at 11:00 AM at Moody Funeral Home Chapel in Stuart with Rev. Ron Pedigo officiating. Burial will be private. Online condolences may be sent to www.moodyfuneralservices.com.
