Mr. Joseph Dewayne "Joe" Dowell

Mr. Joseph Dewayne "Joe" Dowell, 27 of Lowgap passed away Sunday, December 2, 2012 due to an accident. Joe was born in Surry County on December 28, 1984 to Angela Sue Morris and C. Dewayne Dowell. He is survived by his mother and step father, Angela Barker and Eugene Burrows; father and step mother, C. Dewayne Dowell and Shannon Newman; special "step dad", Wesley Barker; sisters, Brandy Dowell, Whisper Barker, Patyn Barker, Kayla Dowell and Amber Dowell; a special son, Domique Wyatt; special friend, Beth Reece Dowell; several aunts, uncles and numerous cousins; a niece, Nevaeh Journey Dowell; special dog "Puppy". Funeral services will be conducted on Thursday, December 6, 2012 at 2:00 PM at Moody Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Woody Flippen and Rev. Oscar Hill officiating. Burial will follow in the Dowell Grove Family Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, December 5, 2012 from 6:00 until 8:00 PM at Moody Funeral Home in Mt. Airy.
