Mr. Joseph Daniel Isaacs

Mr. Joseph Daniel Isaacs, age 64, of Elkin, NC passed away at his home on Saturday morning February 11, 2017. He was born in Surry Co. NC on December 30, 1952 to the late Joseph Wesley Isaacs and the late Flora Imogene Murphy Isaacs. He was a truck driver for Salem Carriers, and was of the Jehovah’s Witness faith. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Angie K. Harmon; sisters, Debra Jean White and Forest Lorraine Thompson. Surviving are a son, Joseph Mark Isaacs of Statesville, step sons, Matthew Johnson of Beckley, WVa. and Larry Wayne Hawks of Beckley WVa; grandchildren, Chloe Isaacs, Cameron Isaacs, and Haley Isaacs; nephews, Shane White and his friend, Alana Harris of Elkin, Roderick Thompson of Elkin; Niece, Ramona Parker of Mt. Airy; step-niece Angel White Richardson of Elkin; special friend, Tina Edwards of Mt. Airy, NC. Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Tuesday, February 14, 2017 at Moody-Davis Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow in the Skyline Memory Gardens in Mt. Airy. The family will receive friends at Moody-Davis Funeral Home on Monday evening from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM
