Mr. Kenneth Aaron "Pepa" Rogers 72, of Westfield, passed away on Monday, December 7, 2015 at his home. Mr. Rogers was born in Stokes County on April 3, 1943 to Clidie Jessup Rogers and the late Ralph Rogers. Mr. Rogers was a lifelong farmer and an avid Duke Basketball fan, fisherman and deer hunter. Mr. Rogers is survived by his wife, Virginia McCraw Rogers of the home; one daughter, Melanie Rogers of Pilot Mountain; two sons and daughters-in-law, Rodney and Crystal Rogers of Westfield, and Chad and Amanda Rogers of San Diego, CA; seven grandchildren, Brittany Rogers, Timmy Scott, Alex Sams, Samantha Wilmoth, Emiley Rogers, Brianna Wilmoth, and Ava Rogers; his mother, Clidie Jessup Rogers of Westfield; a sister, JoAnn Padgett; and three brothers and sisters-in-law, Bill Rogers, Gordon and Anne Rogers, and Berkley and Carol Rogers. In addition to his father, Mr. Rogers was preceded in death by a sister-in-law, Alma Rogers, and a brother-in-law, Edward Padgett. Funeral services will be held at Albion Baptist Church on Saturday, December 12, 2015 at 2:00PM with Rev. Rickey Rogers and Rev. Ricky Easter officiating with burial to follow in the church cemetery. Family will receive friends on Friday, December 11, 2015 at Moody Funeral Home in Mt. Airy from 6-8, and at others times at the home.
