Mr. Lawrence Elmer Quesenberry

Mr. Lawrence Elmer Quesenberry, Sr. age 71 of Meadows of Dan, Virginia passed away at his home on Wednesday, July 20, 2016. He was born in Floyd, Virginia on May 20, 1945 to the late Parker Davis Quesenberry and Mary DeHart Quesenberry. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Odell Quesenberry and Ronnie Quesenberry.

Mr. Quesenberry is survived by his loving wife of 39 years, Wanda Turner Quesenberry of the home; a son and daughter-in-law, Lawrence Elmer Quesenberry, Jr and Becky of Woolwine, Virginia; a daughter and son-in-law, Amanda Nester and Donnie of Hillsville, Virginia; three granddaughters, Ash Leigh Bowman, Asia Laree Bowman, and Lindsey Allyn Quesenberry; a great granddaughter, Emmalynn Mae Nester; a step-grandson, Austin Beaver; two brothers and a sister-in-law, James G. Quesenberry of Meadows of Dan, Virginia and Billy R. Quesenberry and Ann of Patrick Springs, Virginia; a sister, Ruth Wingfield; and several nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held on Sunday, July 24, 2016 at 3:00 pm at Moody Funeral Home Chapel in Stuart with Pastor Joe Young officiating. Burial will immediately follow in the Meadows of Dan Baptist Church Cemetery. Military Rites will be provided by the Patrick County Memorial Honor Guard. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service and at other times at the home.
