Mr. Lee Garther France

Mr. Lee Garther France, age 77 of Stuart passed away Wednesday, February 4, 2009 at the Blue Ridge Nursing Center in Stuart. He was born in Mount Airy, North Carolina on July 4, 1931 to the late Joseph and Ida Forrest France. In addition to his parents, Mr. France was preceded in death by seven brother and two sisters. He attended Harvest Worship Center and worked on Corns Farm for the majority of his life.
Mr. France is survived by one sister, Carrie Hill of Stuart; one uncle, Randal France of Westfield, North Carolina; one aunt, Nannie Sanders of Cleveland, Ohio; and a number of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Funeral services for Mr. France will be held Saturday, February 7, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. at the Hylton Thessalonia Primitive Baptist Church with Elder James Benton officiating. A wake will be held 30 minutes prior to the service. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Moody Funeral Home in Stuart is in charge of the arrangements.
