Mr. Leonard Odell "Butch" Dalton

Mr. Leonard Odell “Butch” Dalton, age 68, of Stuart, passed away Monday, Sept. 11, 2017 at Pioneer Community Hospital in Stuart. He was born in Martinsville on July 9, 1949 to the late Charles H. Dalton and Ora Philpott Dalton. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one sister, Arlene Dalton; and two brothers, Charles W. and Anthony D. Dalton. Mr. Dalton had retired from Hopkins Lumber and attended Shiloh Way of the Cross in Martinsville.

Surviving are his wife of 42 years, Refonda Thomas Dalton of the home; two daughters and a son-in-law, Lynette and Benjamin Manns of Spencer, Kawanna Dalton of Danville; three grandchildren, Naomi Manns, Whitley Manns, Benjamin Manns, Jr.; two sisters and a brother-in-law, Linda J. Dalton of Martinsville, Shirley J. and Michael Wells of Axton; two brothers, Donald E. and Albert W. Dalton both of Roanoke; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Friday, Sept. 15, 2017 at 2:00 PM at Moody Funeral Home in Stuart with Elder Joseph Carter officiating. Burial will follow in the Patrick Memorial Gardens.
