Mr. Leonard Caudle "Junior" Puckett

Mr. Leonard Caudle "Junior" Puckett, 61 of Mt. Airy passed away at the Joan and Howard Woltz Hospice Home Friday, July 26, 2013. He was born in in Surry County on July 9, 1952 to the late Leonard Moscoe and Eva Euelala Puckett. Mr. Puckett served in the U.S. National Guard for six years. He worked for Cross Creek and Perry's before retirement. Mr. Puckett is survived by two brothers, David and C.T. Puckett both of Mt. Airy. In addition to his parents, Mr. Puckett was preceded in death by two sisters, Linda Gail Westmoreland and Claudine Ayers. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, July 30, 2013 at Moody Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Doug Butcher officiating. Burial will follow in Oakdale Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Moody Funeral Home in Mt. Airy from 6:00 until 8:00 PM on Monday, July 29, 2013.
