Mr. Leonard Lee Wiggington

Mr. Leonard Lee Wiggington, age 73, of Mt. Airy, NC passed away Wednesday, June 21, 2017 at the Woltz Hospice Home in Dobson, NC. He was born in Patrick County, VA on June 6, 1944 to the late Harold “Shorty” Wiggington and Effie Collins Clifton. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his step father, Terry Clifton; and two grandchildren, T.C. Wall and Bridgette Jenkins. Mr. Wiggington attended Gospel Mission Baptist Church.

Surviving are his wife of 48 years, Martha Ann Hawks Wiggington of the home; one daughter and son-in-law, Barbara and Dale Hall of Mt. Airy, NC; two sons and daughters-in-law, Jerry Lee and Michelle Wiggington of Mt. Airy, NC, Ray and Susan Roberts of Lowgap, NC; 7 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; and a brother and sister-in-law, James and Barbara Wiggington of Collinsville, VA.

A graveside service will be held Saturday, June 24, 2017 at 12:00 PM at the Wiggington Family Cemetery in Stuart with Pastor Kenneth Young officiating.
