Mr. Lester Clinton Tucker

Mr. Lester Clinton Tucker, age 69 of High Point, passed away Sunday, February 10, 2013 at Moses Cone Hospital. Mr. Tucker was born in Surry County on September 10, 1943 to Lester and Bernice Childress Tucker. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and was retired from Westinghouse. Surviving is his devoted wife, Martha Inman Tucker of the home; sons and a daughter-in-law, Mike and Sharon Tucker of Randleman and Randy Tucker of the home; a grandson, Jared Tucker and a sister, Sharon Lambert of Pilot Mountain. In addition to his parents, Mr. Tucker was preceded in death by a sister, Vickie Moorefield. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM, Tuesday, February 12, 2013 at Sulphur Springs Baptist Church by Rev. Tom Tucker. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends at the church from noon until the time of the service and at other times at the home of Sharon Lambert.
