Mr. Lloyd Edward Sheppard

Mr. Lloyd Edward Sheppard, age 73 of Lawsonville, North Carolina, passed away Wednesday, November 4, 2015 at his home. He was born in Stokes County on January 19, 1942 to the late Dennis Edward and Myrtle Martin Sheppard. In addition to his parents, Mr. Sheppard was preceded in death by one brother, Paul Leonard Sheppard.

Mr. Sheppard is survived by his wife of 54 years, Shirley Mabe Sheppard of the home; three daughters, Myrna Moorefield and husband, Tony of Sandy Ridge, North Carolina, Tammy White and husband, Richie of Lawsonville and Kimberly Morton of Stuart; three grandchildren, Courtney Amos and husband, Ryan, Andreanna Seay and husband, Jacob, and Corey Sheppard; three great-grandchildren, Jacob, Zachery and McKenzie Seay; and several nieces and nephews. A special thanks to his caregivers, Shea and Donna.
A graveside service will be held Friday, November 6, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. in the Aarons Corner Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery with Elder Lowell Hopkins officiating. The family will receive friends Thursday evening from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Moody Funeral Home in Stuart.
