Mr. Mac Arthur Thomas, age 74, loving husband of Patty Draughn Thomas, of Dobson, passed away, Sunday, October 23, 2016. He was born June 16, 1942 in Surry County to Trusty E. Bryant Thomas. He was employed by Carl Rose and Sons where he had a lot of friends and coworkers, and attended New Home Church of Christ. In addition to his wife, he is survived by his daughter and her fiancé, Michele Thomas Boyles and Bobby Joe Reed, of Dobson; and his granddaughter MacKenzie Lauren Boyles, of Dobson; four sisters and two brothers. In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by two brothers. Visitation will be Wednesday, October 26, 2016, from 6-8 PM at Moody-Davis Funeral Service in Dobson. The funeral will be held at 2:00 PM Thursday, October 27, 2016 in the Moody-Davis Chapel in Dobson. Interment will follow in the New Home Church of Christ Cemetery.
