Mr. Macarthur Francis "Mac" Reynolds

Mr. Macarthur Francis "Mac" Reynolds, 70 of Mt. Airy passed away at Northern Hospital of Surry County Wednesday, November 6, 2013. He was born in Surry County on September 2, 1943 to the late Walter Alex and Martha Gertrude Seagraves Reynolds. Mr. Reynolds was a well-known painter in the area and dedicated member and deacon of Faith Baptist Church. He is survived by his wife, Susan "Susie" Smith Reynolds of the home; a daughter, Tammy Meeks and a son, Michael Reynolds, both of Mt. Airy; three grandchildren, Whitney, Ashley and Caleb Reynolds; a sister-in-law, Sheila Reynolds; and his dog, "Bruzer". In addition to his parents, Mr. Reynolds was preceded in death by two sisters, Nancy Hornaday and Wilma Butera; three brothers, Garnet, Caldwell and James "J.C. Reynolds. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 PM on Saturday, November 9, 2013 at Faith Baptist Church with Rev. Randy Edwards officiating. Burial will follow in the Mount Carmel Baptist Church Cemetery.
