Mr. Marcus Worrell McMillian

Mr. Marcus Worrell McMillian, age 54 of Mt. Airy, NC passed away Monday, August 2, 2010 at the Joan and Howard Woltz Hospice Home in Dobson. Mr. McMillian was born in Forsyth County on July 30, 1956 to Jesse McMillian and the late Garnelle Sutphin McMillian. He worked in construction before he became disabled, and was of the Baptist Faith. He is survived by his wife Cynthia McMillian of the home; a daughter, Casey Wall of Mt. Airy; a son, Luke McMillian of Mt. Airy; seven grandchildren, David Childress III, Austin Childress, Levi Childress, Cody Wall, Sunny Wall, Anna Rose McMillian all of Mt. Airy, and Page Harlis of Pearisburg, VA; his father Jesse McMillian of Mt. Airy. In addition to his mother, Mr. McMillian was preceded in death by a daughter Rebecca McMillian. Funeral services will be conducted Thursday, August 5, 2010 at 2:00 PM at Moody Funeral Home by Rev. Jack Anderson and Rev. Bill Spurlin. Burial will follow in the Epworth United Methodist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 7:00 until 9:00 PM at Moody Funeral Home in Mt. Airy.
