MR. GILMER GRAY "GIB" MARION

Mr. Gilmer Gray "Gib" Marion, age 75 of Lowgap, NC passed away on Tuesday November 8, 2011 at Forsyth Medical Center. He was born in Yadkin Co. on October 11, 1936 to the late Grady and Minnie Barr Marion. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Ruby Hunt Marion; three sisters Frankie Jane Marion, Alma Gellent, Viola McBride; four brothers Smith Wayne Marion, Russell Marion, Donald Marion, Richard Marion. He was a disabled Plumber. Surviving are one daughter and son-in-law Lora and Tim Branch of Pinnacle; two sons and daughters-in-law Timothy Gray and Pamela Marion of Siloam, Teddy and Mary Lou Marion of Lowgap; nine grandchildren; six great grandchildren; four sisters and brothers-in-law Ola Blevins of East Bend, Faye and Jim Lawson of Dobson, Edna and Clarence Cook of Westfield, Ruth and Junior Frye of East Bend; two brothers and sisters-in-law Grady L. and Polly Marion of Pinnacle, and Hassell and Gilda Marion of Dobson. Funeral service will be held Friday 2:00 P.M. November 11, 2011 in the chapel of Moody-Davis Funeral Home with burial to follow in the Cedar Hill Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery. Rev. Randy Parrish will conduct the service. The family will receive friends on Thursday evening at Moody-Davis Funeral Home in Dobson from 7:00 P.M. until 9:00 P.M.
