Mr. Marly Everett Edwards

Mr. Marly Everett Edwards, 66 of Cana, VA passed away Tuesday November 22, 2011 at his home. He was born in Carroll County on March 7, 1945 to the late John Anderson and Milie Evelyn Cagle Edwards. Mr. Edwards was retired from auto body work and attended Flat Ridge Baptist Church. He is survived by a special friend and companion; Geraldine Leonard of Cana, VA; a daughter and son-in-law, Scarlet Rena and Jason Easter of Mt. Airy; two grandchildren, Caleb and Everett Easter both of Mt. Airy; a sister, Lelia King of Cana; brothers and sisters-in-law, Marvin Edwards, Wayne and Lucretia Edwards all of Cana, Carvie and Ann Edwards of Belvue, OH. In addition to his parents, Mr. Edwards was preceded in death by two sisters, Leora Edwards and Vera McCraw; two brothers, Ralph and Loman Edwards. Funeral services will be at 11:00 AM Saturday, November 26, 2011 at Moody Funeral Home Chapel by Minister Russell Easter and Minister James Easter. Burial will follow in the Marion Family Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Friday, November 25, 2011 from 6:00 until 8:00 PM at Moody Funeral Home in Mt. Airy.
