Mr. Matthew Ralph Hylton

Mr. Matthew Ralph Hylton, age 40 of Stuart, passed away on November 3, 2013 at his home. He was born in Roanoke on August 10, 1973, and was preceded in death by his mother, Ellen Rakes Hylton. He was a member of Sycamore Baptist Church.
Mr. Hylton is survived by his father, Ralph L. Hylton of Floyd; two sisters, Amanda Harbor of Riner and Tammy Hartl of Shiner, Texas; two brothers, Jeff Hylton of Staunton and Erik Hylton of Floyd; nine nieces; three nephews; and several aunts and uncles.
A memorial service will be held Wednesday, November 6, 2013 at 1:00 p.m. at Sycamore Baptist Church with Rev. Gerald Melton officiating. Burial will be private. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Matthew R. Hylton Memorial Fund, P.O.
