Mr. Melvin Pike Sullivan, Jr

Mr. Melvin Pike Sullivan, Jr., age 69 of Meadows of Dan, passed away Monday, November 21, 2011 at his home. He was born on October 12, 1942 in Elkin, North Carolina to the late Melvin Pike Sullivan, Sr. and Frances Evans Sullivan. He had served in the United States Air Force during the Cold War, and was an accomplished artist.
Mr. Sullivan is survived by his wife, Andrea Frazier, of the home; three sons, Robert Sullivan of Salisbury, North Carolina, Marshall Sullivan of Charlotte, North Carolina, Michael Childs of Chapel Hill, North Carolina; one daughter, Jamie Sullivan of Greensboro, North Carolina; seven grandchildren; and one brother, John Sullivan of Laurinburg, North Carolina.
