Mr. Mitchell Wayne Coalson

Mr. Mitchell Wayne Coalson age 71 of Hamptonville, NC passed away at his home Friday, March 23, 2012. He was born April 27, 1940 in Surry County to the late Clifford and Susie Puckett Coalson. Mr. Coalson was a maintenance director supervisor of the Children's Home in Winston-Salem; managed several apartment complexes and was a residential building contractor. He is survived by the love of his life and soul mate, Pat Coalson Simmons, Welcome, a son and daughter-in-law, Donnie Dale and Terry Coalson, Lawsonville, two sisters Ruth Coalson Hamlin, Elkin and Geneva Coalson Nixon, Pfafftown, and two brothers and sisters-in-law, Mac D. and Ethel Coalson, and Jimmy G. and Karen Coalson all of Dobson. Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Monday, March 26, 2012 at Moody Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Hal Finney officiating. Burial will follow in the Ivy Green Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 PM Sunday, March 25, 2012 at Moody Funeral Home in Mt. Airy and other times at Mr. Coalson's home, 2012 Day Drive, Hamptonville, NC.
