Mr. Moir Page Clark

Mr. Moir Page Clark, age 77 of Independence and formerly of Patrick County passed away Wednesday at Twin County Regional Healthcare in Galax. He was born on July 9, 1932 in Patrick County to the late Moir A. Clark and Margaret Sheppard Clark. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict and had been with the Virginia Game Commission for 21 years.
Surviving are a daughter and son in law, Ann and Phillip Meek of Gaston, SC; two sons, Joseph G. Clark of Myrtle Beach, SC, Moir S. Clark of Independence; three grandchildren, Scott Matthew Meek, Kayla Ann Clark, Joseph John Clark; and one brother, Glenn Edward Clark of Stuart.
There will be a graveside service held on Saturday, August 8, 2009 at 1 PM at Stuart Cemetery with military rites by the Patrick County Veterans Memorial Honor Guard and Masonic Rites by Mountain Home Lodge #263.
