Mr. Moses Mac Worrell

Mr. Moses Mac Worrell, age 76, of Mount Airy, passed away Sunday, December 16, 2012, at the Woltz Hospice Home. Mr. Worrell was born in Surry County on March 3, 1936 to Heath and Donna Frances McRoberts Worrell. He worked in construction for many years with Howard Love Construction; Donald Chandler Construction and made custom built cabinetry with Tony Rigney before retiring. He is survived by his wife of forty seven years, Renda Jones Worrell of the home; a son and daughter-in-law, Christopher and Christine Worrell of Mount Airy and a sister and brother-in-law, Ollie and Truman Puckett of Laurel Fork, VA. In addition to his parents, Mr. Worrell was preceded in death by a son, Jamie Lee Worrell; sisters, Frances W. Wagoner and Lorena Worrell and brothers, Alva Lee Worrell, John Worrell and Eugene Worrell. A graveside service will be held Wednesday, December 19, 2012 at 2:00 PM at Skyline Memory Gardens by Rev. Truman Puckett. The family will begin receiving friends at Moody Funeral Home on Wednesday at 12:30.
