Mr. Nolan Earl Boyles
Mr. Nolan Earl Boyles, age 66, of Dobson, is cruising the highways of Heaven. He began his journey April 14, 2017. He was born January 25, 1951 in Forsyth County to the late Robert Earl and Annie Estelle Boyles. Mr. Boyles served in the United States Army during the Vietnam Era as a drill instructor in Alaska. He retired from Westinghouse after 20 years of service. After retirement, he was self-employed as a car wholesaler. He was also a member of Salem Baptist Church, the VFW and the Masonic Lodge. Mr. Boyles never met a stranger. He is survived by a family of cousins; Sheri (Randy) Galyean, Geraldine (Frank) Ahting and Aaron (Joyce) Boyles; a special uncle, J.H. Keaton; his Salem Baptist Church Family and many friends. Visitation will be from 1-2 PM Tuesday, April 18, 2017 at Salem Baptist Church. The Funeral will follow at 2 PM with Reverend David Powell and Reverend Gary Niston officiating. Military Graveside rites will be conducted with VFW Post 2019 in the Salem Baptist Church Cemetery The family would like to thank Mountain Valley Hospice and Palliative Care and the Team Members of Ridgecrest Assisted Living for their care and support.
