Mr. Paige Delon Thompson

Mr. Paige Delon Thompson, age 66 of Mt. Airy, passed away Tuesday, December 20, 2011 at his home surrounded by his loving family. Mr. Thompson was born in Surry County on April 2, 1945 to Walter William and Alice Holder Thompson. He was retired from Renfro Corp. Surviving is his devoted wife, Nancy Hooper Thompson of the home; sons and daughters-in-law, Steve and Angela Thompson; John D. Thompson; Nick and Candace Thompson; grandchildren, Cody, Miranda, Peyton, Savanah and Hannah; sisters, Wanda Thompson; Gayla Hicks and Dana Naja and an adopted brother, David Holder. In addition to his parents, Mr. Thompson was preceded in death by a brother, William Thompson and a sister, Dorothy Marion. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM, Friday, December 23, 2011 at Ladonia Baptist Church by Rev. Tony Holder. Burial will follow in Old White Rock Cemetery. The family will receive friends Thursday night from 6:00 to 8:00 at the church and Mr. Thompson will lie in state at the church thirty minutes prior to the service.
