Mr. Paul Dixon

Mr. Paul Dixon, age 77 of Mt. Airy, passed away Monday, June 24, 2013. Mr. Dixon was born in Surry County on July 30, 1935 to John and Abby Goodson Dixon. He was a loving father, grandfather, great grandfather and brother who will be dearly missed. Surviving are a daughter and son-in-law, Tammy and Dale Penley; a son, Jeff Dixon; grandchildren, Brandon Dixon, Mitchell Dixon and Kristi Ferguson a great grandchild, Kendall Ferguson and one on the way, Paxton; a sister, Alice Bowman and a brother, Virgil Dixon. In addition to his parents, Mr. Dixon was preceded in death by sisters, Hazel Martin and Ressie Butcher and brothers, Austin Dixon, Homer Dixon, Quiller Dixon and two infant brothers. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM, Wednesday, June 26, 2013 at Roaring Gap Baptist Church Cemetery by Rev. Jimmy Barker.
