Mr. Paul Watson Shough

Mr. Paul Watson Shough, age 70 of Stuart, passed away Saturday, April 7, 2007 at his home. He was born in Patrick County on June 1, 1936 to the late George Watson and Elsie Plaster Shough. In addition to his parents, Mr. Shough was preceded in death by one son, Donald B. Shough, and one son-in-law, Donald W. Corns. He was a member of the Patrick Springs Pentecostal Holiness Church, and had retired from DuPont with 28 years of service, and was a farmer.
Mr. Shough is survived by his wife, Reva Underwood Shough of the home; three daughters and sons-in-law, Sharon Corns of Patrick Springs, Gail and David Boyd of Martinsville and Kaye and Gary Lee James of Martinsville; two sons and daughter-in-law, Ronald L. and Donna P. Shough of Stuart and Barry Watson Shough of Troutville; one step-son, Steve VanSutphin, and wife, Sandra of Meadows of Dan; two step-daughters, Regina Dalton and Tammy Eames and husband, John, all of Stuart; seven grandchildren; six step-grandchildren; and one great-grandchild; two sisters and brother-in-law, Rebecca and Robert Witt and Patsy S. McDaniel, all of Patrick Springs; and four brothers and sisters-in-law, Jerry and Arlene Shough of Stuart, David and Redith Shough and James and Regena Shough, all of Patrick Springs, and Roger and Dot Shough of Stuart.
Funeral services for Mr. Shough will be held Wednesday at 11:00 a.m. at Patrick Springs Pentecostal Holiness Church with Rev. Trent Wall officiating. Burial will follow in the Patrick Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends Tuesday evening from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Patrick Springs Pentecostal Holiness Church, and at other times at the home on 173 Taylor Lane, Stuart.
