Mr. Paul Beckham Waller

Mr. Paul Beckham Waller, age 91 of Stuart, passed away Thursday, November 29, 2007 at the Blue Ridge Nursing Center in Stuart. He was born in Patrick County, Virginia on December 5, 1915 to the late Richard T. and Alice Padgett Waller. In addition to his parents, Mr. Waller was preceded in death by his wife, Georgia Spencer Waller; two sisters, Nannie Kate Anderson and Emma E. Andrews; and three brothers, James, John and Dick Waller. Mr. Waller was a member of Creasey's Chapel United Methodist Church where he was a trustee and a Sunday School teacher. He had been in the United States Army during World War II, and had been a mail carrier for the United States Postal Service.
Mr. Waller is survived by two daughters and a son-in-law, Ms. Pat Curry of Stuart and Mrs. Jane (Toby) Cox of Stuart; three grandchildren, Mickey Curry, and wife, Lynnel, Chris Cox, and Kevin Cox, and wife, Sandi; four great-grandchildren, Zach, Cameron, Madison and Will; and one sister, Sara W. Mason of New Zealand; and special caregivers, Trish Harrison, Helen Hill, Donna McMillon and Theresa Stanley.
The funeral service for Mr. Waller will be held Sunday at 3:00 p.m. at Creasey's Chapel United Methodist Church with Pastor Mike Hundley and Pastor Warren Stackhouse officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery with military rites by the Patrick County Veterans Memorial Honor Guard. The family will receive friends Friday evening from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Moody Funeral Home in Stuart.
