Mr. Perry McCoy Suttle

Mr. Perry McCoy Suttle, age 88, of Dobson, NC, passed away Wednesday, December 30, 2015 at Hugh Chatham Memorial Hospital. He was born November 12, 1927 in McDowell County, NC to the late Carl Franklin Suttle and Lottie Sophronie Suttle. Mr. Suttle honorably served his country in the US Navy during WWII. Later he worked for the Surry School System as both a teacher and administrator.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Eleanor Montrose Lackey Suttle. He is survived by his daughters and sons-in-law; Melanie Suttle Hartwell of Marion; Paula and Michael Suttle Flanagan of Addison, Texas; Robin and Kent Suttle Smith of Mount Airy; sons and daughter-in-law; Perry M. and Michele Suttle of Virginia Beach, VA.; Robert Elliotte Suttle of Boonville; six grandchildren; brother and sister-in-law, John Weldon and Geraldine Suttle of Green Cove Springs, Florida.
There will be Military Graveside Rites at 2:00 PM Saturday, January 16, 2016 at Drucilla Independent Baptist Church Cemetery in Dysartsville, McDowell County, NC.
