Mr. Phillip Edward Brewer

Mr. Phillip Edward Brewer, age 50 of Mt. Airy, passed away Saturday, July 09, 2011 at the Woltz Hospice Home. Mr. Brewer was born in Forsyth County, January 22, 1961 to Wayne Edward Gammons and the late Annie Ruth Creed Gammons. He was a loving husband, father and brother. Mr. Brewer was retired from C. K. Technologies. Surviving is his devoted wife, Kelley Settlemyre Brewer of the home; daughters, Melissa Brewer of Winston-Salem and Maggie Brewer of the home; his father, Wayne Gammons of the home; sister and brother-in-law, Robin and Bruce Higham; a brother and sister-in-law, Shane and Tina Gammons; nieces, Sarah and Brooklyn; nephews, Chet, Thomas, Shane, Robbie, Daniel, Isaiah, Shawn and Jamie and best friend, Scottie Parker. In addition to his mother, Mr. Brewer was preceded in death by a brother and sister-in-law, Tommy and Dixie Gammons. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM, Tuesday, July 12, 2011at Moody Funeral Home Chapel by Rev. Timmy Crotts. The family will receive friends from 1:30 until the time of the service.
