Mr. Phillip Dean Roberts

Mr. Phillip Dean Roberts, age 54 of Sandy Ridge, North Carolina, passed away Saturday, January 14, 2012 at Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center. He was born in Henry County on November 3, 1957 to the late William Guy Roberts and Margaret Elizabeth Woolwine Roberts. He had served in the United States Marines and was a carpenter.
Mr. Roberts is survived by two brothers and sisters-in-law, William Thomas and Barbara Roberts of Stuart, Robert Leon and Tonya Roberts of Virginia Beach, Virginia; four sisters and brothers-in-law, Loraine and Fred Gilles of Lake Luzerne, New York, Deborah and Roy Rusmisel of Stuart, Patricia and Robert Agee of Danville and Rebecca "Becky" Puckett of Meadows of Dan; and several nieces and nephews.
A memorial service for Mr. Roberts will be held Thursday at 2:00 p.m. at Moody Funeral Home in Stuart with Rev. Bernard Handy officiating. Military rites will be conducted by the Patrick County Veterans Memorial Honor Guard. Burial will be private. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
