Mr. Randall Curtis Simmons

Mr. Randall Curtis Simmons, Sr. age 60 of Mt. Airy passed away Monday, October 10, 2011 at Northern Hospital of Surry County. He was born in Surry County on September 24, 1951 to Nell Bowman Simmons and the late James Curtis Simmons. He was a corporate manager for McDonalds before becoming disabled, and was a member of Grace Moravian Church. He is survived by daughters, Laura Simmons and Brianna Simmons both of Mt. Airy; sons and daughters-in-law, Will and Kasey Simmons, Robert and Jennifer Simmons, Randy Simmons, Jr. all of Mt. Airy, Andrew Simmons of Wilmington; five grandchildren; his mother, Nell Simmons of Mt. Airy; a sister and brother-in-law, Susan and Mike Henry of Ruffin, SC; a brother and sister-in-law, Mike and Arcadia Simmons of Winter Garden, FL. Mr. Simmons was preceded in death by his father, James Curtis Simmons. Funeral services will be held Thursday, October 13, 2011 at 2:00 PM at Grace Moravian Church with Rev. Tony Hayworth officiating. Burial will follow in Gods Acre. The family will receive friends at the Church, Thursday from 12:00 noon until time of the service.
