Mr. Ray Lee Hylton

Mr. Ray Lee Hylton, age 58 of Bassett, passed away Wednesday, May 17, 2017 at his home. He was born in Patrick County on March 9, 1959 to the late Raymond Cundiff Hylton and Claris Alma H. Hylton.

Mr. Hylton is survived by two sisters, Virginia Nelson of Bassett and Geraldine Haynes of Stuart; two nieces, Melissa Turner of Stuart and Susan Waldan of Lynch Station; a great- niece, Samantha Ratcliffe of Stuart; and a great-nephew, Ray Wesley Hanks, Jr. of Martinsville.
A memorial service will be held Friday, May 26, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at Northside Baptist Church with Pastor Ron Peal officiating. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the charity of the donor’s choice.
